Construction activities are supported through our current work force of 350 employees. These levels are expected and do fluctuate, based on job backlog, and have been as high as 550 in recent months. Venable’s also maintains a significant inventory of heavy equipment as well as certain support equipment including, but not limited to, service and fuel vehicles, haul trucks, pickups and trailers. In addition to owned equipment, we have significant alliances with Caterpillar and other leasing entities which provide us the ability to quickly react to job demands.
Administrative support is centralized in the Panhandle of Texas. This support is comprised of back office functions, a coded vessel shop with field repair capabilities and a safety and training department. Venable’s is DOT compliant, OQ certified, a Veriforce subscriber and a designated training center for NCCER. Significant ongoing resources are allocated to promoting a safe workplace environment as well as protection of the environment.Our Philosophy
